Dear AISC Community:
I would like to share an important update following the recent AISC Board meeting held October 13, 2021.
The Board of Directors of the American International School Chennai has initiated a Head of School Search for the 2023 Academic School Year. Mr. John Littleford of Littleford & Associates has been contracted to assist in the search process. This firm are experts in creating a customized profile for each high-level candidate position they work with and searching world-wide for the right candidates to fit the profile. We are confident they will complete the exercise successfully.
A Search committee has been formed. Mr. Michael Roberson (elected member) will Chair this committee. The committee will be supported by Mr. Sridhar Venkatesh (appointed member), Ms. Kami Viswanathan (appointed member), Ms. Louisa Rogers (elected member), and Mr. Jongho Jung (elected member).
The search committee anticipates completing this work in the spring of 2022. Regular updates will be provided to the community, and a formal announcement will be made once the new Head of School is appointed.
As a first step in the search process, Littleford & Associates will be building the customized candidate profile for our school. This November they will be meeting all stakeholders including the Board, faculty, staff and parents. If you would like to participate, please contact Angeline Mohan (mangeline@aischennai.org) and she will let you know the logistics of these meetings.
